Census tract "Baw"

My map shows census tracts for three different areas in New Orleans.

  • Orleans Parish
  • Plaquemines Parish
  • St. Bernard Parish

More Specifically in Orleans and Plaquemine's Parish I have highlighted the Predominately Vietnamese neighborhoods and given With the blue markers on the map how many of the residents in that particular tract were actually born in Vietnam. New Orleans is such a diverse city.

Little Vietnam (New Orleans eddition)

Little Vietnam is located in New Orleans East. It is a small community made up of predominately Vietnamese people. It is also commonly referred to as Versailles. This unique community hosts a Farmers market every Saturday comprised of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. This area is also noted for its backyard gardens that thrive in this area. The climate in New Orleans and Vietnam are very similar creating natural fit for this group of people.
